Star Anise & Ginger Tea – Boosts Immunity and Relieves Inflammation

Anise and Ginger Tea

A study published in the April 2010 issue of the journal “BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine” found that a commercial herbal preparation containing anise provided a safe , natural remedy for constipation.

Ginger tea is so beneficial for health thanks to its high levels of vitamin C as well as other minerals. Adding honey to your tea will give it additional antioxidant.

A simple cup of ginger tea with honey is useful for many conditions: relieves nausea, treats an upset stomach, arthritis due to the anti-inflammatory properties, improves blood circulation, fights infections and boosts the immune system.

Ingredients needed:

  • 6g. grated ginger
  • 1 tsp of anise
  • 2 tsp of honey
  • 2 tsp of lemon juice
  • 2 l water

Preparation:

Place the anise, ginger and cayenne pepper in an already boiling water and boil them for 5 minutes, after which you should let it cool down. Add honey and lemon juice before consumption. Enjoy in your anise and ginger tea.

Recommended dose:

Drink small sips of this wonderful anise and ginger tea combination throughout the day (or whenever you feel stressed out).
